National Mathematics Day is observed annually on December 22 to raise awareness of the value of mathematics and the achievements made by Srinivasa Iyengar Ramanujan.
We have also celebrated this day with great pomp and show. On 27th December we had our celebration in the form of a grand assembly, with the active participation of all grades and sections from std. 5 to 12.
The assembly had 2 dances by the students of grade 5 and 6 (Hip–Hop dance) and grade 7 & amp; 8 (Song from Shakuntala Devi). A skit, information, quotes, Quiz, Facts, Monoacting of different Mathematicians.
The soft boards were updated on all floors and the Main bulletin board was very well done by the students under the guidance of the Math team.
1st Floor :
Std. 5 & 6: Students had done with the Math Facts .
2nd Floor :
Std. 7: Puzzles & Riddles
Std. 8: Information about Ramanujan
Std. 10: Quotes by Famous Mathematicians
3rd Floor :
Std. 9 & 11: students (charts on Mathematicians) & hand on experience by students
