Evaluation & Exams

Education’s true measure of success lies in the achievement of predetermined learning objectives, a process continuously monitored to steer students on the correct academic path. The comprehensive evaluation strategy employed goes beyond scholastic achievements, delving into nurturing life skills and fostering positive attitudes towards the grand tapestry of life.

At the core of the evaluation system is a continuous and comprehensive approach, seeking to chart a holistic profile of each learner. This method seamlessly integrates evaluation into the teaching-learning paradigm, offering insights into both scholastic and co-scholastic aspects of a student’s development. The overarching aim is to facilitate the growth of well-rounded individuals endowed with good health, appropriate skills, admirable qualities, and, of course, academic excellence.

Standards I and II

Aligned with the National Curriculum Framework’s directives for stress-free education, the initial primary years abandon term-end examinations. Instead, a robust and continuous assessment strategy takes its place, involving a spectrum of evaluation tools such as worksheets, project work, oral evaluations, and group activities, all designed to foster a nurturing learning environment.

 Standards III to VIII

As students progress to higher standards, the evaluation mechanism evolves to include both formative and summative assessments. The academic year is divided into terms, with each term encompassing a minimum of four formative assessments and a singular summative evaluation. This strategy, encompassing pre and post-Diwali sessions, ensures a detailed and comprehensive assessment of each student’s learning journey.

Standards IX to XII

Adhering to the Gujarat State Education Board’s mandates, the senior classes embrace a distinct examination pattern, formulated to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their academic endeavors.
