In their foundational phase, students embark on the fundamentals of sketching, which then evolve into lessons encompassing still life, landscape, portrait, and cartooning. They’re exposed to a myriad of techniques, from pencil and markers to charcoal, pastels, acrylics, and watercolors. Art and painting don’t just serve as mediums for self-expression; they’re pivotal channels for emotional articulation and play a crucial role in cognitive growth. Dance serves as a conduit for students to maintain both physical vitality and mental agility. At St Kabir, students are afforded the platform to articulate themselves through diverse dance forms, be it Western, classical, or semi-classical, all under the expert mentorship of seasoned maestros. The dance studio, bathed in natural light and designed with impeccable aesthetics, boasts wooden flooring to further enhance the dancing experience.
Kabirites have access to an array of musical instruments, including the keyboard, sitar, guitar, and percussive instruments like tabla and drums. Our meticulously curated syllabus for the performing arts ensures that students are well-versed in their chosen discipline. To further refine their talents and provide real-world experience, we offer them multiple platforms, ranging from inter and intra-school competitions to performances during the regular school assembly.
