“Those blessings are sweetest that are won with prayer and worn with thanks.”
I believe discontentment is a growing disease in our world today. We always focus on what we do not have rather than what we have. Our wants keep on increasing each day. When we’re caught up with all these wants it’s so easy to forget all the blessings in our daily lives. Instead of feeling grateful we start complaining, feeling unhappy and envious.During the past year, the Covid pandemic has turned our lives upside down and affected every aspect of life.
This was the time that made us realise that we took things for granted and never appreciated them.People came out and helped each other for food, medicine, shelter and thus proved that Humanity still exists. The front line health workers worked round the clock in the worst situation. Our lives have definitely changed and the least we can do is make a pledge that we will be grateful for all the blessings that are bestowed upon us.
Gratitude and attitude are not challenges; they are choices.
