DIDAC LATROBE UNIVERSITY PROJECT WINNERS -SMART CITY CHALLENGE

We are thrilled to share that we have been selected to participate in the prestigious Smart City Challenge in collaboration with La Trobe University, Australia, and India Diadac. We are proud to announce that our team secured FIRST PLACE among 25 projects from across our country and five other nations!

Our project focused on the critical issue of solid waste management in our city. To address this challenge, we conducted in-depth surveys and engaged with various stakeholders to better understand the existing waste management problems. Our research highlighted significant challenges related to waste segregation, which inspired us to develop an innovative solution.

Introducing the Smart Waste Segregator—a tech-driven innovation designed to enhance waste segregation processes. We compiled our findings and detailed our solution in a comprehensive report, complemented by an engaging video presentation for the challenge.

This achievement not only reflects our hard work and dedication but also our commitment to creating a more sustainable future. We look forward to sharing more about our journey and the positive impact of our solution in the coming months!

DIDAC MELBOURNE UNIVERSITY PROJECT Runners – ECOLOGICAL MAP

We are excited to announce that our project, in collaboration with the India Didactic Association and the Digital Infrastructure Engineering University of Melbourne, participated in the esteemed competition ‘Innovate for Impact.’ We are proud to have secured the Runners-Up position among 25 innovative projects presented from various states across our country! The challenge tasked our children with creating an “Ecological Map” using state-of-the-art GIS software and information technology. Participants designed a detailed ecological map that captured the complexities of a specific ecosystem, showcasing biodiversity, climate elements, and human impact. This experience not only enhanced our skills but also deepened our commitment to environmental conservation. We are eager to share what we’ve learned with our community, taking meaningful steps to preserve and protect our planet for future generations. Thank you for supporting our journey toward a more sustainable future!
