On October 2nd, St. Kabir School (GSEB) celebrated Gandhi Jayanti, a day that marks the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of our nation and Lal Bahadur Shastri. The event was filled with various activities that honored Gandhiji’s values of truth, non-violence and Shastriji”s  simplicity. The celebration began with a serene bhajan performed by our school choir, creating an atmosphere of peace and devotion. The soulful rendition of “Vaishnav Jan To” reminded everyone of Gandhiji’s deep spiritual connection and his love for Indian culture. Following this, students performed skit, speeches, songs and dances that depicted Gandhiji’s  and Lal Bahadur Shastriji;s  life and their role in the Indian freedom struggle. The performances were vibrant and heartfelt, showcasing India’s rich cultural heritage and the unity that Gandhiji and Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji’ envisioned for the country.The program concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving everyone with a sense of pride and a renewed commitment to Gandhiji’s and Shastri Ji’s ideals.
