De Addiction & The Healthy Food

On October 10, 2024, the students of 9th class participated in an enlightening session on De-Addiction and Healthy Eating, organized by VMC and the FAITH Foundation. This awareness program focused on the risks associated with fast and junk food, highlighting the use of artificial colors and chemicals in popular delicacies such as sev-usal.

Participants were engaged in practical demonstrations that illustrated how to identify adulterated versus pure chili powder. They also learned effective methods to check the purity of milk, ghee, paneer, and cheese. Additionally, the importance of maintaining hygienic practices in restaurants and kitchens was emphasized.

This program successfully raised awareness about the dangers of consuming adulterated food, equipping students with the knowledge to make informed choices about the street food and other food items they consume. As a result, the students are now more conscious of the food they eat, fostering healthier habits moving forward.
